A little bit more about Nicole.
Background
Nicole Mullen is currently a junior and a Journalism and Mass Communication major of the Walter Cronkite School at Arizona State University. She grew up in Alaska and credits the northern scenery for her original draw to photography. After a while, the largest state in the U.S. started feeling small. Nicole found herself wanting to travel, discover, and learn about people and places outside of what she was used to. This resulted in her interest in becoming a journalist and writer. Books became her way to travel without having to go anywhere. She spends the majority of her time outdoors whether it be hiking, road trips, swimming, skiing or almost anything really.
Goals
This adventurous attitude translated perfectly at ASU as she now finds herself surrounded with endless opportunities. Nicole is continuing to take advantage of as many as possible in hopes of finding a more specific area of journalism that interests her. At the moment, she is open to the chance to gain experience in a multitude of areas.
